1.1 Device Information and Hardware Identifiers
The Application automatically collects and processes device information to generate unique hardware identifiers, including but not limited to:
- Motherboard and BIOS serial numbers
- Windows Machine GUID
- CPU architecture details
- Network MAC address
- Hard drive serial numbers
- Computer name and username
Legal Basis: Collection is necessary for the performance of software licensing agreements and prevention of unauthorized use as permitted under applicable law.
1.2 Usage and Performance Metrics
The Application systematically collects operational data and usage statistics, including:
- Session duration and streaming time
- Feature usage patterns and frequency
- Application startup and shutdown events
- Audio streaming success/failure rates
- Chromecast device connection statistics
Legal Basis: Data collection serves legitimate business interests in software improvement and quality assurance.
1.3 Diagnostic and Error Data
Upon system or application errors, diagnostic information is automatically transmitted, comprising:
- Error messages and stack traces
- Application logs and debug information
- System configuration relevant to errors
- Network connectivity issues
- Audio device and driver information
Legal Basis: Error reporting serves legitimate interests in product maintenance and customer support obligations.

EnclaveCast stores data locally on your computer:
- Application logs in %LOCALAPPDATA%\\EnclaveCast\\
- User preferences and settings
- Chromecast device discovery cache
- Temporary audio processing files
Note: Local logs are automatically rotated when they exceed 5MB to manage disk space.
2. INFORMATION USE AND PROCESSING
2.1 Technical Support Operations
Collected data is processed for diagnostic purposes and provision of technical support services to Users experiencing operational difficulties.
2.2 Software Enhancement
Usage analytics and performance metrics inform development priorities and optimization strategies for improved User experience.
2.3 License Validation
Hardware identifiers are utilized to enforce software licensing terms and prevent unauthorized use or distribution in accordance with licensing agreements.
2.4 Product Development
Feature utilization data informs strategic decisions regarding software enhancements, additions, or deprecations in subsequent versions.
3. DATA TRANSMISSION AND SECURITY
3.1 External Data Transmission
The Application transmits collected data to designated servers via secure protocols:
- Destination: rgtechconsulting.com (HTTPS encrypted)
- Frequency: Automatic when errors occur or sessions end
- Data: Usage statistics, error reports, and hardware identifiers
- Security: All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
3.2 Local Network Operations
Core Application functionality requires local network access for:
- Discovers Chromecast devices on your local network
- Streams audio directly to selected Chromecast devices
- No external internet access required for streaming
3.3 Security Protocols
- Hardware IDs are SHA-256 hashed for privacy protection
- All external communications use HTTPS encryption
- No plaintext storage of sensitive personal information
- Local logs are stored securely in protected user directories
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND INTEGRATIONS
The Application maintains limited third-party service integrations:
- No Analytics: We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking services
- No Crash Reporting Services: We use our own telemetry system instead of third-party services
- Microsoft Store: When distributed via Windows Store, Microsoft's privacy policy also applies
- Chromecast Protocol: Direct communication with Google Chromecast devices on your local network
5. USER PRIVACY RIGHTS
5.1 Data Access Rights
Users may submit written requests to [email protected] for disclosure of personal information collected by the Application.
5.2 Data Deletion Rights
Local data may be manually removed from %LOCALAPPDATA%\\EnclaveCast\\. Server-side deletion requests must be submitted in writing to the designated contact.
5.3 Data Collection Limitations
Telemetry collection is mandatory for Application functionality and cannot be disabled. Future software versions may provide opt-out mechanisms where technically feasible.
5.4 Policy Updates
This Policy may be modified at any time. The effective date constitutes notice of the current version. Continued use signifies acceptance of modifications.
